introduces SCENAR Therapy
|
What is SCENAR Therapy?
SCENAR is an acronym for
Self-Controlled-Energy-Neuro-Adaptive-Regulator.
The SCENAR device
involves no drugs and
no surgery and works to help
the body heal itself.
FDA cleared for pain relief,
muscle re-education and stress
reduction, SCENAR medical
technology uses a hand-held
device to deliver a
non-invasive, non-toxic,
computer modulated therapeutic
electro-stimulation onto and
through the skin.
The use of SCENAR technology
can have a
profound effect on both acute
and chronic painful conditions
and physical dysfunction that
may not respond to other forms
of treatment. |

How does SCENAR
therapy work?
SCENAR therapy
functions on two
physiological principles:
that the body has its own
healing capabilities and
that it is continually
employing processes of
self-regulation to maintain
health.
When the body is unable to
maintain homeostasis
(balance) it can eventually
experience physical
dysfunction and pain.
SCENAR therapy
helps the body regain and
maintain homeostasis
by finding and treating
"asymmetries"–telltale
signs–and symptoms of where
homeostasis is absent in the
body.
The electrical signals
generated by the SCENAR
device are similar in form
to the body’s own
neurological impulses. In
this way the body does not
recognize them as alien or
invasive–therefore
negative side effects are
virtually non-existent.
Essentially, this
non-invasive device activates
the body’s own adaptive
processes and helps restore
stability through the release
of the body’s protein-like
molecules, thereby reducing
stress and inflammation—and effectively
relieving symptoms of pain
and dysfunction.

Can SCENAR
Therapy help me?
An estimated 50
million Americans live with
chronic pain caused by
disease, disorder or accident.
The Food and Drug
Administration recently
cleared this new technology
for use on patients precisely
because it was found to be
effective, safe, economical,
and–more importantly–offers
hope as well as results for
millions of people. If you
have pain
SCENAR therapy may help you.
The effectiveness of SCENAR
therapy for pain relief is
substantial and lasts longer
than other pain control
methods. The Macquarie
University in Sydney,
Australia conducted a
randomized control trial using
a SCENAR device and it
showed "dramatic and sustained
results."

What will happen
during my SCENAR treatment?
Dr. Ritter will apply
the small held
SCENAR device onto your you
skin and
you will feel a
slight tingling sensation that
is not at all painful.
For
most people the treatment
lasts 5-30 minutes, with acute
injury treatments averaging 30
minutes. The aim is to achieve
a change in your condition
during the treatment.
In most cases,
you will need about 3-5
treatments (minimum) with some
acute conditions resolving
even sooner.
You will be asked note any
changes you experience after
receiving your first treatment
and bring them to Dr. Ritter.
This helps her target further
treatments and aids in your
healing process.
Please
contact Dr. Ritter
to
schedule your
SCENAR
therapy and experience the
relief from chronic pain that
many others have.

"One of Dr. Ritter’s patients, 89 year
old Lilo B., explains her experience with
the new technology this way:
“I have been living with osteoarthritis and
very painful sciatica for the last ten
years. Conventional treatment did not help
and pain medication had many negative side
effects.
Then Dr. Ritter used the SCENAR on my still
stiff joints. After a few treatments I felt
great relief, and the stiffness in both my hand
and knee joints is almost completely gone.
“For the last ten years I was unable to walk
without a cane. Now I can walk, at least in
the house, without it. I can drive, do my
shopping, the laundry, light house and
garden work, all without pain medication.”
